FOR PEOPLE DEALING WITH HORMONAL, MENSTRUAL OR GYNAECOLOGICAL CONDITIONS, AND THOSE IN THE POSTNATAL PERIOD.
WOMEN'S HEALTH PATHWAY
Common and normal are not the same thing. This pathway is for people whose symptoms, such as painful periods, irregular cycles, PCOS/PMOS, endometriosis, PMDD, perimenopausal symptoms, haven’t been fully addressed yet and who want to address the root cause and manage their symptoms more effectively. It also covers the postnatal period, a time that is often underestimated. Acupuncture can help support recovery after birth, including helping with fatigue, mood, sleep disruption, hormonal rebalancing and breastfeeding challenges.
Timeframe for treatment depends on the condition and how long it has been present. Most clients in this pathway work with me for a minimum of two to three months. For postnatal clients we work around what you need and when you can actually get here, which with a newborn is a legitimate logistical challenge.
Endometriosis | PCOS/PMOS | PMS and PMDD | Irregular or painful periods | Perimenopause | Postnatal recovery | Hormonal imbalance
Your initial consultation is 75 minutes. Before you arrive you'll complete a women's health intake form covering your menstrual and hormonal history — reviewed before your appointment so we can get straight into what matters.

KIND WORDS
WHAT THIS PATHWAY WILL HELP YOU WITH…
LOOKING FOR THE ROOT CAUSE, NOT JUST MANAGING THE SYMPTOMS
COMMON AND NORMAL ARE NOT THE SAME THING. FROM PAINFUL PERIODS TO PERIMENOPAUSE, MOST HORMONAL AND MENSTRUAL CONDITIONS HAVE A CAUSE WORTH FINDING.
CONDITIONS THAT HAVE BEEN NORMALISED OR DESERVE A CLOSER LOOK
ENDOMETRIOSIS, PCOS, PMDD, IRREGULAR OR PAINFUL PERIODS, PERIMENOPAUSAL SYMPTOMS. IF YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD YOUR SYMPTOMS ARE JUST SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO LIVE WITH, THAT MAY NOT ACTUALLY BE THE CASE.
THE POSTNATAL PERIOD IS UNDER-SERVED AND OFTEN UNDERESTIMATED. ACUPUNCTURE CAN SUPPORT RECOVERY AFTER BIRTH, HELP WITH FATIGUE, MOOD, SLEEP DISRUPTION, HORMONAL REBALANCING AND BREASTFEEDING CHALLENGES.
